IPRIS is in the state of progress. This means that we promote innovative ideas about organization of printing enterprises and various services for their needs. It is common knowledge that such ideas are closely connected with information and digital technologies.
A sine qua non for a state of the art printing company is use of high-performance digital presses. Digital equipment allows for efficient performance and ensures stable production costs that do not depend on the number of printed copies. At the same time, print speed and quality are compatible with those of conventional presses, e.g. offset printing machines. Digital equipment is an ideal solution for short-run printing jobs as well as for printing single copies. Optimization of manufacturing business processes involves use of automated systems operating at a certain speed, which determines printing capacity. High-performance digital printing companies provide a new range of services, including print on demand books, personalized newspapers, and other printed matter with individual features.
Since 1991 IPRIS has been doing business with major digital technology companies, including XEROX, HP, Duplo, etc. and has gained broad experience in this sector of the market. We promote new ideas in cooperation with Oce, the world's leading manufacturer of highperformance digital printing machines.
We continue our search for new approaches to service — demand for maintenance and repair of separate pieces of equipment is being superceded by demand for maintenance of the printing enterprise's entire technological complex, from printing presses to computer networks and information systems. It is clear why this approach is necessary — computer systems are used for controlling all digital equipment and are also extensively integrated in traditional printing processes. Many companies are using or planning to use Ctp equipment and computer-operated systems for transfer of print parameters and color profiles and controlling printing machines. We also see a growing use of information systems, from those performing simple accounting tasks to sophisticated production management and support systems. The business process in the printing industry is no longer dependent solely on the reliability and capacity of printing machines but is largely determined by the reliability and efficiency of computer systems, networks and software.
IPRIS has a corporate information system that has been in use for five years. The company has 17 years of experience in printing equipment maintenance and repair. We are ready to bring our diverse experience to others. |
